The overhead squat is challenging. Here are some top tips from Crossfit athletes Laura Faulkner and Kara Halliwell to make sure your form is on point.
Overhead squats help to increase your strength, mobility and stability.
Start off with the bar in a wide-grip overhead position. Push your hips back and drive into the bottom of a squat, keeping your shoulders strong and arms straight. Then stand it back up.
Top tips:
1) Keep pressing up through the bar
2) Keep your core tight
3) Keep shoulders active throughout the movement
