What is intermittent fasting? There are a few different types but at its heart, intermittent fasting is an eating pattern where you combine periods of eating with periods of extended fasting. There are a lot of different types of intermittent fasting, that mostly vary by the amount of time spent fasting and the amount of time eating. Richie Kirwan, an expert in nutrition talks us through the examples.
